OOTD: Aztec Dress

Hey all-

I may be one of the worst blogger ever. I couldn't wait to post this dress because it is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, the dress is at home & I'm at my office & I have no clue who makes it. All I can tell you is I got it from Peebles and it looks just like a dress I saw online at Target.com. I'm actually a little jealous because Target's version is $24.99, where I paid $60 for mine. I am unsure of the quality of the lessor version, but I absolutely love mine.

I've worn this dress twice now, with different shoes. In this particular post, I was about to go out, so I threw on a pair of wedges. The second time I wore it, I paired it flat sandals. Either shoes didn't change the look of the dress one bit.

I hope everyone has a FUN & SAFE Labor Day weekend. I'll be very missing in action & I wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes you've just got to take a break from reality. A little secret, I've got a fun Music Monday planned, so stay tuned!

3.1 Phillip Lim x Target

Hey all-

I know what you’re think, 2 posts about Target in a week?! Well, I am obsessed with the store. As much as I love Target, I love a collaboration more than anything. 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target debuted last week & I cannot wait until September 15 until the line hits stores!

The line consists of more than 100 Lim approves pieces- all relatively affordable. The prices range from $19.99 to $299.99 (leather jacket), which for those of you who are familiar with 3.1PL, know this is a steal!

I love that Lim features adaptations of his best-selling items. I am hoping to get my hands on one of his satchels($34.99-$45), since I've been lusting over this one ($895) for months. This may be one of Target’s best collabs EVER, in my opinion.

Sunday, September 15, I’ll be at my local Target seeing what gems I can get a hold of. Will you? What are your favorite pieces from the collection?!

Review: Eye Rollers

Hey all-

Normally, I don't admit to being a cry baby, but for whatever reason, lately, I've been well a cry baby (Hello Quarter Life Crisis). The major problem I run into with the tears flowing, is my eyes get extremely puffy- which is why I hold in the waterworks. I've used many different de-puffing products & have narrowed it down to these two:

I've been using the Clinique one for years & have been please with the results. A few weeks ago; however, I decided to give the Garnier (cheaper) version a try. I was very surprised  with what I discovered.

In my personal opinion, the Garnier worked much better than the Clinique. I didn't have to use multiple coats & it had a pleasant scent &&&& came in at half the price!

I've included some info about each product below, literally copy & pasted from the website. Both products are great, but if I can get a better result with the cheaper version, then duh, that's the one I'm choosing!

CLINIQUE: All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage

This instantly cooling rollerball helps massage away bags, refreshes and hydrates puffy eyes on contact. Brightens eye area immediately and over time. Combats dark circles, too. With caffeine, potent antioxidants and soothing botanicals. Oil-free, non-irritating. Ophthalmologist Tested.

GARNIER: Roll away under-eye puffiness and dark circles for brighter, more radiant eyes.

    Is it right for me?
While you sleep circulation slows down and causes fluid to collect in your lower eye area. Dark circles and puffiness appear. Skin Renew anti-puff eye roller is right for you if you gently want to stimulate micro-circulation around skin's delicate eye area to decongest excess fluid for diminished dark circles and puffiness.

    How do I use it?
Gently roll Skin Renew anti-puff eye roller under the eye from the inner corner to the outer corner, one to two times.

How do I use Skin Renew products together?
After cleansing with your favorite Garnier cleanser, use your preferred Skin Renew daily moisture lotion. Apply Skin Renew anti-puff eye roller as your daily care, morning and night.

For advanced care, incorporate into your routine:
    Skin Renew radiance moisture cream

My question is, which do you prefer?!

Music Monday

Hey all-

I've always been a fan of Paramore- mainly because every song sounds exactly the same, so if you like one, you more than likely like them all. Case in point, this song. Sounds like everything else, but I still can't get it out of my head (probably because I feel the same, but that's another story entirely). Hope you enjoy this!!

Sam & Libby for Target: On SALE

Hey all-

We all know I am such a sucker for any Target collab- Missoni, Jason Wu, Neiman Marcus, etc. Well yesterday I strolled into my local Target & to my surprise, the entire Sam & Libby collection was 50% off!!! I am an avid shoe lover & couldn't contain my excitement; however, my low funds in my bank account quickly stopped me from indulging- well, until payday (tomorrow) anyway. Online, the shoes are still full price, so I definitely recommend checking your nearest store for discounts. Happy shopping!

September Issues 2013

Hey all-

My favorite time of every year is when all of the September issues come out! I cannot get enough of Fall Fashion! Page after page of the season's newest boots, handbags, accessories, trends, styles, tips. Although these below don't come close to magazines I will read this month, I just wanted to show you how I'll be spending my free time. I'm getting excited just thinking about it!!!

P.S. I've already read both Glamour & Lucky. Can't wait to get my hands on InStyle, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, etc. Happy weekend!

OOTD: Distressed Boyfriend Jeans

Hey all-

First, ignore all the random crap on the floor next to my feet. I was in a rush & didn't think to clear a spot for this picture. I also had no intentions on it ever ending up on Shoes & Champagne. But for whatever reason, I got lots of compliments on this casual ensemble so I had to share it!

Second, I'm normally not so into the the whole distressed denim look or boyfriend jeans at all. However, a few years ago I decided to purchase these jeans. Random, I know. Up until last Friday, I may have worn these once or twice. I decided to keep my outfit casual yet stylish for a night out. I threw this together in about 10 minutes & I was out for the night.

Actually, I got more compliments on my shoes than anything, but that was the purpose of these basic pieces- to showcase the shoes. Mission accomplished.
